KCAUSA-ANA luncheon forum a success
The KC Chapter of the Association of the United States Army partnered with the Association of Naval Aviators to host a luncheon forum Jan. 12, at the Reardon Civic Center, 520 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.  The 93 guests in attendance were clearly impressed with the panel of officers from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College which consisted of three Navy, two Marines and one Army officer. <more>

Pitt State ROTC thanks KCAUSA for support
Recently KCAUSA helped sponsor Pittsburg State University ROTC in sending a running team to the Army 10-Miler race in Washington, D.C. Lt. Col. Don Stoner, the Pittsburg State Professor of Military Science, sent a note and letter of thanks for the support.  Click here for details and a report on Pitt State's successful ROTC program from Lt. KCAUSA gathers for Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2009
KCAUSA conducted a breakfast meeting on Veterans Day at the KC Marriott Downtown  200 West 12th Street, Kansas City.  Several members and guests attended to hear remarks by Brig. Gen. Alexander Duckworth, Assistant Division Commander, 35th Infantry Division, Fort Leavenworth. Duckworth spoke about "The Modern Veteran" and recognized veterans in attendance with a roll call of the deployments or conflicts in which they served.
