NEWSFLASH: KCAUSA helps host educational symposium for employers with Guard & Reserve employees
(Aug. 17, 2007)  The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Executive Committees of Kansas and Missouri, and the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Association of the United States Army are hosting a special breakfast and symposium on Sept. 6, at the Marriott Hotel in Kansas City. Invitations have been mailed and replies are requested no later than Aug. 31. <more>

Local community college offers free videoconferencing to military families

Army Birthday Ball a great success, timely reminder of the sacrifices of Soldiers in support of the Nation
On June 16 the Greater KC Chapter of AUSA partnered with the Henry Leavenworth Chapter to host a military ball in celebration of the Army’s 232nd Birthday. Nearly 300 guests attended the ball including spouses of deployed Soldiers, citizens of the community, veterans of WWII, Korea and Vietnam, as well as active duty and reserve troops from both the Army and Marine Corps. <more>
