Membership Breakfast Meeting, March 30, 2010--RSVP now

All members, their guests and friends are invited to a General Membership Breakfast Meeting, March 30, with special guest speaker Brig. Gen. Edward C. Cardon, Deputy Commandant of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, 200 West 12th St., KCMO. The doors open with a networking opportunity at 7 a.m. We will being the breakfast program promptly at 7:30 and adjourn between 8:30 and 9 a.m.

We are pleased to announce that Diane Boeger has been elected as our new Chapter President. Mark H. Wiggins is our new Chapter Executive Vice President.-- Join us in congratulating them and please bear with us as we update our website and other materials.

The President and the Executive Vice President of the Kansas City Chapter of AUSA are elected every two years.

Attached is the ballot for the 2010 election of these two officers. The Board presents the ballot linked below for your consideration and recommends the slate of officers presented. Their biographies are included.

Please note that no action is required by you unless you wish to vote for candidates not on this ballot.

In December, KCAUSA participated in the "Wreaths across America" campaign at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. More than 200 volunteers placed nearly 1,000 wreaths. The NE Chapter of Gold Star Mothers organized the event. (photo by Diane Boeger)
