KCAUSA-ANA luncheon forum a success
The KC Chapter of the Association of the United States Army partnered with the Association of Naval Aviators to host a luncheon forum Jan. 12, at the Reardon Civic Center, 520 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan. The 93 guests in attendance were clearly impressed with the panel of officers from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College which consisted of three Navy, two Marine and one Army officer. For more than two hours the panel and Q&A focused on the military and geopolitical environment our forces have faced in Iraq and Afghanistan. Overall the event was very successful. Mike Neer, the lead organizer/planner from KCAUSA who is also the State AUSA President, expressed thanks to everyone that helped plan and organize the event. "I would like to thank, Mark Wiggins for public affairs work and PayPal actions; June Neer for assisting in ongoing coordination and running the check-in for guests; Diane Boeger for assisting with check-in; Bryan Wampler for helping with setup; all the members for a great turn out in attendance, especially Mike Katzman; Vince Murphy and Al Gorthy of ANA for all they did to make this event successful; Tom Holden, USMC, for continuing support of AUSA's work in the community; Business Executives for National Security for their support; and of course the men and women serving our Nation, demonstrated by their exceptional peer representation in this panel.
