Next breakfast meeting March 24...and more
Our February breakfast meeting was another success, with a highly important briefing by Col. Gregory Penfield of the Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth.

The next meeting will be at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kansas City, Kan.  The program will cover our initiative to bring together our corporate members with individual Soldiers transitioning from the Army to a civilian career, or reserve component Soldiers who need a civilian career change.

We will co-sponsor a military-to-civilian career change forum on April 2 at the same Hilton. We’ll be posting details soon.

Also, put the Army Birthday Celebration on your calendar for June 13! It will be another exciting night of Army pageantry, camaraderie, dinner, dancing and fun with friends.
February breakfast meeting set for Feb. 24-- Please join us!
Thanks to all of you who made it to the monthly breakfast in January – it was a really great event! The announcement of the chapter's focus in 2015 on Veteran Hiring and Entrepreneurship was exciting and very well received by the many businesses and members in attendance. We hope to engage more of the business community to join us in this effort and possibly consider being a sponsor to future breakfast events or at our Career Connections event planned for April.
